The mission of The Alliance of Nonprofits is to unite the nonprofit community in order to provide members with affordable access to necessary regulatory and administrative resources; command significant discounts on products and services for nonprofit members; cultivate a forum for marketing nonprofit products and services to other nonprofit organizations; facilitate communication between nonprofits to help and support each other; and unite individuals and businesses with the nonprofit community.

- The Alliance site is a comprehensive resource where its members can access the following: • Support for conforming with regulatory and administrative requirements. The Accounting/Regulatory center contains detailed information regarding how to obtain nonprofit status, IRS requirements, audit and accounting rules, and other accounting and regulatory guidance surrounding the nonprofit community. • An array of professional service providers that specialize in nonprofit services and provide discounts and special programs to Alliance members. • An extensive purchasing program which provides discounts for nonprofit members and the volunteers that serve them. Access to the purchasing program is a tangible “thank you” that members can give to their volunteers. Usage of the purchasing program not only provides discounted goods and services and a token of gratitude to nonprofit volunteers but it provides the financial resources for maintaining The Alliance site. Consequently, the usage of the purchasing program results in minimal fees to access the site and its core resources for all nonprofit organizations. • A community center consisting of “The Marketplace” and “Event Central.” The Marketplace is a forum for nonprofits to market their goods and services to other nonprofit organizations. Event Central is a calendar of events searchable by state and type whereby nonprofits post and advertise their events to the nonprofit community. • Expanded Alliance membership provides free access to all of GrantStation’s resources. • Exposure to corporations and other funders that query The Alliance member list to find recipients of foundation and other funding designated for specific purposes. • Via Our Store, access to customized “Toolkits” such as our acclaimed customized Procedure Manual to serve the needs of the Alliance community.
